The Hinsdale Central Booster Club

About the Hinsdale Central Booster Club

The Booster Club is a service organization that has been in existence since 1951. Our membership is comprised of parents, community members, and faculty. We support athletics, academic teams, drama, art, music, student leadership organizations, and special interest school clubs.

BOOSTERS IS EVERYONE! We meet at Hinsdale Central on the first Wednesday of the month and all are welcome. Please feel free to call with any questions or suggestions.

A Boosters Membership entitles you, your spouse, and children free admission to all regularly scheduled school sponsored home athletic events. (Tournament games are exempt).

BONUS: NO WAITING IN LINE TO PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE GAMES!

Why Join Boosters? I Don't Have an Athlete!

We still hear from too many people that The Booster Club is just for families with athletes. Yes we do support athletics at Hinsdale Central, BUT we also support academic teams, drama, music, art, student leadership organizations and school clubs. The Booster Club is made up of families who believe that school sponsored extra curricular activities play an important role in the development and well being of our high school students. The Booster Club provides many "extras" in extra curricular activities beyond that which school budgets can fund. One of the benefits for parents who actively participate in the Booster Club is the opportunity to get to know other parents, as well as the opportunity to develop personal relationships with many wonderful people who serve on the faculty at Hinsdale Central.

Where does the money come from?

The Booster Club raises funds through membership dues ($60), concession sales at football games, the sale of “spirit attire” and other special events. The Booster Club held a brunch in both 2009 and 2010 to raise funds, and this year we are sponsoring "Second City Spears the Red Devils", a fundraiser, and a fun event for students, staff, parents and the Hinsdale Community.
